Partner with BEL

Creating Meaningful Partnerships That Advance Our Community

At Black Educated Lesbians (BEL), we believe lasting impact is built through intentional partnerships rooted in shared values, mutual respect, and a commitment to advancing the well-being of Black lesbians and Black queer women.

Founded in 2014, BEL is a Black lesbian-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization headquartered in Metro Atlanta with local chapters nationwide. Through wellness, leadership development, workforce development, education, research & evaluation, and community building, we create opportunities for Black lesbians and Black queer women to connect, heal, lead, and thrive.

We recognize that meaningful change cannot be achieved alone. We actively seek partnerships with organizations, businesses, healthcare providers, educational institutions, foundations, government agencies, and community leaders who share our commitment to equity, inclusion, and community impact.

Our Partnership Philosophy

BEL believes that sustainable impact is created through intentional collaboration, not transactional relationships.

We value partnerships that are built on trust, authenticity, and a shared commitment to strengthening communities. Every collaboration should create meaningful value for both organizations while centering the needs of the communities we collectively serve.

We do not pursue partnerships simply because funding is available. We pursue partnerships because they help Black lesbians and Black queer women thrive.

Our goal is not to build the largest network of partners—it is to build the right network of partners.

✓ Advance equity, wellness, leadership, or education.

✓ Preserve BEL's independence and organizational integrity.

Our Commitment to Mission-Aligned Partnerships

Black Educated Lesbians (BEL) carefully evaluates every partnership opportunity to ensure it aligns with our mission, values, and long-term vision. We believe that trust is earned through integrity, and we are committed to building relationships that create meaningful, lasting impact for Black lesbians and Black queer women. We value mission alignment over financial opportunity because we believe the strongest partnerships are those built on shared purpose, not simply shared funding.

Let's Build Something Meaningful Together

Whether you're interested in sponsoring an event, collaborating on research, supporting workforce development, providing wellness resources, or exploring another partnership opportunity, we'd love to start a conversation.

Together, we can create opportunities that empower Black lesbians and Black queer women while strengthening communities for generations to come.
