Black Educated Lesbians (BEL) is a community-centered 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to empowering Black lesbians through leadership development, wellness programming, economic advancement, and community care. We are seeking passionate, committed students to join our team as interns.

This is an unpaid internship. Academic credit may be arranged through your institution.
📌 AVAILABLE INTERNSHIP AREAS
Interns may apply for one of the following focus areas:
Programs & Events
Support wellness programs, virtual discussions, and community events.
Development & Fundraising
Assist with grant research, sponsorship outreach, and donor engagement.
Communications & Social Media
Help amplify BEL’s work through content creation, social media, and digital storytelling.
Operations & Administration
Support internal systems, organization, and day-to-day nonprofit operations.
Youth Leadership (EmpowerHER)
Assist with youth mentorship and leadership development programming.
⏰ TIME COMMITMENT
- 10–15 hours per week
- Mostly remote
- Atlanta-based interns may assist with in-person events (optional)
- Weekly check-in with supervisor
